This second stool helps me reach stuff in the highest cabinets, but its main duty is to hold the crock for paper towels.Husband's request for oatmeal raisin cookies had me in the kitchen tonight. How I wish I had a kitchen island so you and I could sit and talk and wait for the cookies to brown.

The ONE thing I really miss from the old house is the island/bar area...it was huge and I loved how my family could sit around it while I was in the kitchen cooking....boo hoo, I'm about to cry just thinking about it.

WOW! Those oatmeal raisin cookies sure look good! I'm sure if you FedEx'ed some they'd still be fresh when they got here!
