A Borrowed Idea

Creative journaling pages as well as art techniques are abundant on Pinterest . I came across one that I really liked by Caitlin Dundon. She showed a mixed media collage sample and recommended "Put a Bird on It." I borrowed her idea and decided to use  letters and a bird image to fill a painted canvas.

I'm fond of the color green.

I guess that's why I have green bottles on a windowsill.

Spring and green do go together.

On this rainy day I'm still puttering with decorating ideas. By the way, here's the magazine with the bubble wrap painting idea.

Decided to use more green on the den mantel. Wanted my one green Ball jar
 to be seen.

Favorite Color

My favoritism to the color green may be due to being a redhead with green eyes. Maybe it's because my mother always loved shades of green and introduced me to them years ago. Whatever the reason, green is a favorite color of mine. It's prevalent throughout my house and wardrobe.
