There's Something About Saturdays

I love getting a package in the mail. All week I looked forward to the arrival of the stamp kit. It came today, and I'm excited to own it. I have wanted this blue tin with its contents for quite some time. Happily this unused one became available on eBay at a good deal price.

Recently I picked up this journal. Not sure what will decorate its pages in the weeks and months ahead. Just getting started has been a bit intimidating.

Looking forward...

On this rainy Saturday I was able to check out something I have thought about and desired for months. Amazingly it was still there. More to follow...

Home Therapy

When I'm over in the "studio" the cares of the world melt away. Puttering is excellent therapy for me.

I pulled out clippings and rubber stamps and started playing around with different combinations. Haven't decided on a final arrangement for the tags in this set.

These three rubber stamps came from a sale bin at Hobby Lobby. So looking forward to the Cavallini Stamp Kit I won on eBay...coming all the way from Bend, Oregon.

I'm always collecting word snippets and quotes.

I am thinking of you
and
am glad
you stopped by.

MAKE A WISH.
YOU NEVER KNOW.

Rainy Day Outing

The Emerson quote is wise but difficult to do (for me, anyway).

I'll always have a soft spot for any child's rocker.

I checked my booth space and made an unexpected purchase from another vendor. The rug had brown, cream, and green colors that I so like...plus a 40% off sticker. Even with the rain today stretches of snow remain. I'm not fond of wet, cold days...but am trying to appreciate them, too.

A new calendar page

Even though snow
lingers
on the ground,
it's time
to turn
thoughts
to hearts,
flowers, and
tokens of love.
