I have been putting four leaf clovers inside small frames to give away as gifts. The clovers came from the yard, and the two frames on the right came from the antique store where I have a booth. I'm always on the lookout for such frames at bargain prices. I hope you had a great Fourth of July. We were at home and ate too much...ribs, hot dogs, and smoked sausage on the grill, baked beans, potato salad, and chocolate and lemon cookies. This week it's back to watching what I eat. Thanks for dropping by. Make it a terrific Tuesday.
The lovely warm sunshine makes me linger outside and enjoy this wondrous time called SPRING. I am anxious for blooms to appear in the flowerbeds and for the planters to be overflowing with color. I am an impatient gardener learning to be patient.
Gunner spent the day with us. He used the computer and did a search for Easter egg designs. At http://www.mccormick.com/ we watched a video of a lady showing different techniques. We then blew out eggs and tried our luck. Speaking of luck, Gunner found several four leaf clovers when we were outside. Those were pressed inside a big book. Gunner also climbed his favorite tree, filled up the birdbaths, helped pick up sticks so his granddad could mow, and sat in the swing with me playing "I Spy." It was a day of many pleasures.
