Easter Blessings, Sweet Memories

There are days that will stand out in your memories. Yesterday was one of those for me. It was a beautiful Easter Sunday.

Lauren strapped Etta to the highchair with the red tray so she could sit at the table.  It was her first time to join the family at the big table. That same highchair was used by Ryan and Lauren when they were small.

Lauren hid eggs with surprises inside for Tallulah.
It was such fun watching her find them.

See why this post is about Easter blessings and sweet memories. This time will not come again.

Going Forward

Life goes on in the midst of shock, grief, and sadness. It is still hard to grasp that Lauren is without Justin. She is bravely coping but with a sad heart. Below are two of my favorite pictures of Justin. I did not take the pictures, but they show the tender side of a man gone too soon. He was a wonderful daddy to Tallulah and was looking forward to his second little girl.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have been helping my daughter with Tallulah. So far Tallulah has been enjoying her play school on M, W and F. Justin would be so proud of his little sweetheart.

Lauren snapped this picture of her before heading to play school.

She is in the last weeks of her pregnancy.
Wonder what name Tallulah's sister will have...?

Happy Day

On the first of April I had the pleasure of keeping Tallulah an entire afternoon while her parents painted their kitchen. She was a joy to watch. However, by the end of the afternoon I realized how very old I am. I was tired with a backache. But the time with Tallulah was certainly worth it.

A Splendid Start to March

It was a beautiful and sunny day for an outdoor birthday party celebration.

Precious Tallulah was two on Sunday March 5th.

Lauren and Justin are such good parents to sweet Tallulah.

(That's Ryan and me in the background enjoying a hug.)

Come September Tallulah could have a little sister.

Summer Days

Even with the summer heat July has been a good month. Tallulah has mastered crawling.

Her dad shared this picture of her standing. This little lady is getting stronger and braver.

Olga and Gunner returned from a visit to see relatives in Mexico. Olga brought back some lovely gifts for Tallulah, Lauren, and me.

Of course, I've been spending time over in the art room. I still love to paint flowers.

I had fun doing this mixed media.
