Getting Mail

One reason I enjoy December is the arrival of Christmas cards. It's wonderful to open each envelope to see the art designs and messages...then to read the handwritten notes and signatures. This year I folded book pages to make a card display. Pinterest, thanks again.

Save Those Clothespins and Buttons

I found the one dollar white picture frame at Goodwill and added the small clothespin and button. Now photos, postcards, or notes can be changed

frequently. Pinterest, thank you for another cute idea!

 

 I have it sitting in my studio space.

 

This is another little something over in the studio. It was a gift from my mother a long time ago.  

 

 

Love that simple stamping and simple cutouts help achieve relaxing art. My visual notebook is filling up with pages of art techniques...some simple, some serious, some goofy.

Writing Styles

This is a Pinterest project that I liked and finally got around to doing. It will be a handy message board in the kitchen for reminders, grocery items, and other notes. Vis-a-Vis markers on glass clean off easily.

This next part of my post is a visual record for me and may not interest anyone else. I've noticed that my handwriting has undergone several changes through the years.

In grammar school I loved to sign my name. My music pages and sheets were labeled again and again.
