With all the extreme heat I have been inside more than out. I saw this message on a car in the Walmart parking lot on a day I needed that reminder.

Very thankful for a home with air conditioning

Of course, I love seeing Tallulah and Etta. Lauren's little ones are certainly growing. 

My brother Ron made the rocking horse for Ryan in 1980. Ryan is now 46, and Lauren is 43. These pictures remind me how fast my own children grew up.

It was a rainy, gloomy day, but a visit by friends Mary and Sam made it extra nice.

I'm posting this picture to save a memory. 

Mary will understand.

We like so many of the same things.

It's uncanny how many times we select similar items.
Crocks, bottles and jars, spice racks, pottery, Christmas ornaments, deer figures, books, pitchers - just to name a few.



We learned today that we have that same blue folk art rocking horse.
