Good Morning

Last night I got the tickets ready, and this morning over coffee I had my husband draw out a name. I promise the tickets were shuffled, and the old-fashioned reach-in was honest. When I asked him to draw out a ticket, his response was "Ticket?" However he complied. Blogs and what bloggers do are foreign to him.

I bought one other Christmas ornament but decided not to show it since my daughter might read this post, and it was for her. Amazing how quickly these three special holidays- Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas- will arrive. And just as amazing how quickly they will be gone.

Little Touches

If there's a knob or hook unadorned, it seems I have to decorate it with a tag, tassel, or something.

Little touches have a lot of decorating punch. Since they accentuate furniture pieces, I tend to keep them in place for a long time. For whatever reason they please me and are tiny endearing additions around the house.
