Last night I lit a small votive. I had forgotten how much glow and peace one candle can provide.

I cut this quote from October 2009 Country Living, pasted it onto some background paper(again a magazine clipping), and placed it on that stand which is now on a small candlestick table that's between the couch and recliner. I really like the way it looks.

I liked the candle shot. A friend of mine buys the candle with batteries. They have timers on them also. They all come on throughout her house at certain times in the evening and of course she doesn't have to remember to turn them off! I like this idea.
