On this rainy Sunday we fixed soup and cornbread, watched a couple of football games, and read in comfortable chairs. It was a quiet Sunday for us because the kids had other plans.
On page 304 in Alexandra Stoddard's Grace Notes she wrote on October 4 the following message -
Paying too much attention to death is a waste of time because it is gaining on all of us. Our job is to celebrate the light of day and be grateful.
Grateful...I like that word and feeling...I like that you came by.
