The painters are here. The primer is on the fireplace. Yeah! I think we are going to like the change from dark to light. We had grown tired of the dismal look of the old fireplace. I'll still have to decorate around the ugly vents and electrical outlet, but hey, the fireplace already looks better.

I painted my dark wood paneling years ago and left the fireplace (used brick) as it was and I still love it.
