Not much happening here, and that's a good thing. Most of the snow has vanished. I've been clearing out clutter, using Brasso on a brass planter that's my bathroom wastecan, reading, cooking a few meals, and thinking about spring and the problems of the world. Of course, my own problems are closer to home. Visits to see Mom are emotionally upsetting. That's why I so enjoyed my Valentine dinner out at Erwin's on Saturday night. Wall art and antiques provide lots of atmosphere while the amazing food at the once country store satisfies your taste buds. For a little while problems are far away.

Hi Sandy, well it looks like you are trying to stave off the blues. I'm right there with you. Someone said to me awhile back that they didn't "winter well." I can relate, how bout you?
I'm sorry about your mom. I know how hard it is. But hang in there Sandy, you are not alone ok. Keeping busy helps, but be sure to take care of you too ok.
Sweet hugs,
beth
Beth, your sweet note meant a lot to me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. I truly believe springtime will lift our spirits.
Sandy
