a house that causes me to look every time I go by
three sweet bottles
plate on old wooden trunk in den
unique rock sculpture given to me by my brother
Andrea's recipe inspired me to make a pineapple upside down cake. Her blog is Deep Fried Cupcake. She's listed in my favorite blogs.
a favorite print...love the creek, the children's clothing, and the gentle assistance
The days of January are clipping by at a fast pace. If I didn't write in my journal, these so-called ordinary days would be lost forever. I write often of my mother, saving tidbits of conversation, memory clips, and fluctuating moods. Oh, if I could turn back time, I would put her back in her prime, and I would be there, too, enjoying every moment.

Love that you made the cake, thanks for posting a picture of it
:-)
That house is gorgeous! And I love the bottles too....
your last few words choked me up...
Andrea, the cake was yummy, but I want to try it again. My iron skillet was too small for the amount of batter I used. Next time my hubby is hoping I'll get it right with more browning for a chewy bottom.
Mine over flowed a wee bit too Sandy, it turned out alright tho!
