I confess I have saved way too much through the years. I have a tendency to cling to happy past memories(and if I am honest, some painful ones, too). That stationery box was a high school graduation gift, and the select few love letters inside are sweet, sentimental relics of other times and places. One day I will probably toss them, but for now they stay in the pretty box high up on the closet shelf.

Oh no Sandy, please don't ever toss them!! I tossed mine when Jeff and I got married, and wish I hadn't. Believe it or not, it's not so much for sentimental reasons that I miss them, but for crafting purposes! I've seen some wonderful crafts made from old love letters :-) COPIES of them of course, not the real thing.
anyway, i love your pics :-)
Please don't do that Sandy. How fortunate you are to have such a treasure.
We live in a here today gone tomorrow world, not like our parents or grandparents, where things had meaning and value.
With computers and such, a handwritten anything is a treasure.
Hope you'll reconsider. The picture is lovely.

Thanks for leaving those passionate comments, Andrea and Beth. I will do as you recommend and keep them and leave the tossing to someone else. Love when you share your feelings. Thanks, again. Sandy
