A few blooms have made their appearance.
Planters near the front doors have blooms, too, thanks to Lowes.
And then I've been painting flowers.
A few blooms have made their appearance.
Painting is a major source of enjoyment.
April is dancing by, and I haven't even greeted this new month. Yesterday I noticed magnificent blooms...not in my yard but in other people's yards. Wow, spring is such a colorful season of new growth and hope!
I may have too much time alone with my thoughts. That may be why I love books. They provide time away with other people.
I am also blessed to have family and friends. I think about others who are dealing with loss or sickness.
I'm going to leave you with two quotes.
"Living with things that have meaning- because of where we found them or who gave them to us - lends soul to our decor." - Samantha S. Thorpe
"If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back."
Thanks for dropping by.
I kept trying to hold onto positive thoughts today. Sure missed the sunshine.
Also the news of another mass shooting...terrible. This shouldn't be happening in America.
Feeling COVID is far from over. Cabin fever set in today.
I did complete an art journal page. The idea came from another artist's work on Pinterest. I especially liked the colors she used. Wish I could be original and have my own style.
Some days are simply glorious. Yesterday was one of those.
Today was a lovely mild day to mark the start of spring. I inspected my flowerbeds but put off working on them. Instead my spring celebration started on a canvas.
