From One Holiday to the Next

The Thanksgiving holiday was lovely with our kids and grandkids. It takes two tables(actually three) to accommodate 0ur family. Even though I like using real dinnerware, my husband insists on mostly throwaway.

All the pumpkins and fall decorations are put away. Now to focus on what I want to use for Christmas. It will be several days before the trees go up. On Saturday afternoon I helped decorate the tree at church.

Today I'm thankful for another birthday. Every day is a blessing!

 

An Important Month

 My firstborn turned forty-four on November 2. Remembering his birth and the growing up years is bittersweet. Where did all that time go? Even now days are passing by at a fast pace, and I'm having to face that my life span is almost over. Of course, we are not promised even tomorrow. Aging is a privilege, but it is also a wakeup call as to how short our earthly life is.

Of course, tonight is important due to mid-term election results.

We shall see the direction our country will choose.

Thanksgiving is later this month, and I'm looking forward to it. Ready to be with kids and grandkids.
