Three inexpensive finds

Wish this art had been signed. The frame alone was worth the six dollars I paid for this autumn scene. Another Lucy Flea Market find.
No real pumpkins this year...spent my money on fake ones that can sit on the doorstep next year(if I'm still here).
The orange ceramic one my mom did years ago for me, and there's a jack-o'-lantern on its other side.
This book weaves two stories together...2018/1940.
Morgan is the modern day character, and Anna is from the past.
It has to do with two of my favorite things - art and diary keeping.
The changes come fast in October. The back steps are covered with fallen leaves. The ones still on the trees are brilliant colors.
Red, orange, crimson, gold, rust, and yellow belong to October.Using odds and ends from old decorations I was able to make this new one to celebrate October.
I came across this quote on Instagram and wanted to share.

The first day of October was perfect. Had a nice walk and sat in the outdoor swing. It felt good to be outside. To just rest the mind and let the fresh air soothe the soul.
