Time To Myself

I may have too much time alone with my thoughts. That may be why I love books. They provide time away with other people.

Another way I escape is through art. This is a journal page with flowers. Soon I hope to have some real blooms outside in the backyard. I pulled weeds one day and actually enjoyed it. I like my rock borders to be clear of weeds. When I do it, I think of my mother who insisted that her garden rocks be moved here. So glad she did! Her collected rocks do add just the right look to my flowerbeds.

Being home so much I am inclined to move things around in the house. Since I haven't found a frame yet for the sheep scene I decided to hang it with a clip.

The plates and artwork were changed out on this wall space.

I am blessed to have a home with meaningful possessions. I think about others who have experienced floods, tornadoes, or fires.

I am also blessed to have family and friends. I think about others who are dealing with loss or sickness.

I'm going to leave you with two quotes.

"Living with things that have meaning- because of where we found them or who gave them to us - lends soul to our decor." - Samantha S. Thorpe

"If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back."

Thanks for dropping by.

Your journal art is beautiful. All the decor pieces are lovely. I love to keep the pieces that remember some one or some incident all around my home.

Thank you for your kind comments. Lovely
pieces that remind us of people, places,
and occasions make our homes special
and uniquely personal. Joy and blessings!
