Sit A Spell

Sometimes I sit in my easy chair, put down the book I'm reading, and gaze at this side of the living room. I like this grouping of prints and will probably never change them. Sorry about the glare on the smallest print. If you came for a visit I would share this space with you.

During our visit I would talk about little Tallulah. Lauren shared this recent photo with me, and I wanted to share this sweet and happy face with you.

Recently I read a devotional that stressed four words. I found myself saying them over and over. I made an angel on an art journal page and added three of those words.

"God listens to our prayers and fulfills our needs and requests when we pray with trust, faith, hope, and confidence."

If you were sitting with me I hope we would discuss our hopes and dreams. I'd like for us to talk about any and everything...religious views, problems facing our nation, disappointments, joys, etc.

Well, our visit is coming to an end. Glad you came by.

Here Goes...

I have been wanting to write a post for days, but kept putting it off...thinking not much happening around here...there's so little to share. But here goes anyway.

Spending time outside with the flowers is always nice.

Little girls are the sweetest, especially the one in Austin, Texas.

Happy Moments

For many months I have looked for a "12x16" frame. I don't know the artist of this sheep scene because the artwork wasn't signed on the front or back. But from the first moment I spotted it at a Goodwill store I have admired it. The painting is far more worthy than the one dollar I paid for it.

In the right hand corner I wonder if those marks are someone's initials.

My daughter is experiencing her first Mother's Day.
Motherhood is such a blessing.
I was blessed to experience it twice, having a son first and later a daughter.

Nick and Lucas presented me with this flower gift.

Laughing with Gunner. At first he tumbled onto the ground before securing this relaxed position.

May Is Here!

Can you believe it? It's already the fifth month of 2021. Here's my biggest news. Tallulah was discharged from the hospital today. She still needs the feeding tube, but hoping and praying the swallowing condition will improve. Confession: I was not wild about her name but have grown to love the name since I have spoken it in prayer for weeks. Little Tallulah, how I love you!
