Slow Down

That's what I wish for in this last part of the year. I really don't like Christmas displays in the stores when we haven't even had Halloween yet.
There was a time when each special holiday was given its due - Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

I like the one main Halloween decoration in the kitchen. Tallulah is looking forward to dressing up for play school fun and on Halloween night.

I have been making a few changes here at the house. It took me forever to decide  where to hang this candle holder. Corkey hates nail holes but not me. I would like decorating every wall.

Art time is my fun time.

Loving Autumn

This is more or less a picture post so you'll know I'm still around.

I usually see Tallulah and Etta on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I try to help out on those days, but Lauren does an amazing job tending to her sweet little girls.

Of course, I take more pictures of Tallulah

since Etta is usually sleeping or nursing. Lauren snapped the photo of  T by the window and this one of us with Bluey.

Into A New Month

I'm not ready for it to to be October because I know how fast the next three months will zoom by. September breezed by before I had a chance to take it in. Oh well, what can one do but live each day and try to appreciate each one.

I have a few fall decorations out. Nothing new, just some old favorites.

Lauren sent me these two photos of the girls.

Adore these precious little ones!

Tallulah will be glad when Etta sleeps less and plays more, but thus far T has been a super sweet big sister.

Found that last farm painting...a small one to complete bedroom wall.

An enjoyable trip to Charlene's Christmas Open House in Halls was just what my friend Kim and I needed.

We also stopped in Ripley to browse through Outside the Box. I found one needlework picture I couldn't leave behind.

Today at Bible Study we finished Season 1 of The Chosen. The study book and Pastor Brad's comments have given me deeper insights into the story. I have watched all three seasons but am happy to study them with a church group. I would encourage anyone to watch this production.

Well, time to call it a night. I will be spending tomorrow with Lauren and the girls.
