Last Day of the Month Thoughts

Computer woes have made posting difficult. I wonder if it is because so many are using the internet now. Where did January go?

I haven't killed this pretty orchid yet.

Grandson Lucas gave my artist figures some new poses.

While cleaning out my writing desk I came across these two feathers I had saved.

Enjoying the Christmas gift from Olga and the boys. Many times I sit here in my chair with a book or iPad.

Green is my go to color.

Home

I must like the word home. It keeps showing up in my decor. Of course, I do spend a lot of time at home, and I'm comfortable at home.

Here's my newest pillow with that one word.

Recently I picked up this little wood shape with the word home.

Over in the apartment I have this HOME sign above the stove.

This saying hangs in the kitchen window.

And this message hangs in our dining room.

A Box of Memories

I mailed this box today to my daughter Lauren. She wants to dress her little one (due in late March) in a few outfits she once wore. Praying all the time for this little one to make three more months and then a safe and sweet arrival. I will be on pins and needles until she's here.

I pinned prints and notes to each outfit.

I also included bonnets. soft shoes, a few crib toys, and a musical windup.
I hope Lauren enjoys the contents of the box.

Happy New Year

"Celebrate endings-for they precede new beginnings."

-Jonathan Huie

The tree is stored away and so are all the pretty ornaments. Hopefully I'll see them again next Christmas. But more importantly I hope our family can stay well and be together in 2021.

This beautiful Christmas card from a friend is being used by me to wish you a Happy New Year.
