Glitch

I enjoy adding to the booth and seeing what goes away with new owners. I took some pictures to share, but a problem with posting photos has delayed that. Maybe son Jo can fix the error on this computer.

Meanwhile I'll just write and try not to bore you with my ramblings. On this gloomy, rainy day I plan to visit my mother in a little while. Masks are required of all visitors because of the seriousness of flu infections.

Our kids presented us with an iPad for Christmas, and learning to navigate around on it has been interesting. It amazes me how many changes have taken place since I was a youngster. We were thrilled to watch a black and white television. Most of our playtime was spent outside playing softball, shooting baskets, riding bikes, swinging, and exploring nature's surprises like tadpoles and birds' nests. No computers, no video games, no cell phones. Today's kids have grown up with so much technology. But are they any happier?

Every generation sees enormous changes. I realize I am stuck in the middle...longing for parts of the past and yet excited about new advances. Just to sit at this computer and talk to you...perhaps several of you...in this post is incredible.

Have a great day!

Finally catching up on your blog since I have a new computer! I think you've inspired me to start my own blog up again!
