A Day Trip to Savannah

Meet three dear friends. Carla and I met in college, and then we would meet Anne and Fran when we secured our very first teaching positions. We share a past history full of memories. We spent the day in Carla's hometown of Savannah, TN.

Cherry Mansion served as headquarters for General Ulysses S. Grant in the spring of 1862.

The whole day was lovely - perfect weather, great food, gorgeous scenery, and being with special friends to share old memories and to make new ones.

Wow! That's what is so wonderful about the south. So much history. California has history, but it is over shadowed by LA and all the glitz. I love the pictures Sandy.

Thanks for sharing, and for sharing your dear friends.
